MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Bucks selected Bogoljub Marković with 47th pick in the second round of the 2025 NBA Draft Thursday night.
The 6-11 power forward played in 30 games last season with Mega Basket in Serbia’s Adriatic League, averaging 13.7 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists.
At just 19 years old, Marković shot an efficient 53.8% from the field and was named the 2024-25 ABA Best Young Player. He also earned ABA Player of the Month honors twice during the season.
The Uzice, Serbia, native debuted with the Serbian Senior National Team in Nov. 2024 for the 2025 FIBA EuroBasket Qualifiers, seeing action in two contests. Marković, who turns 20 on July 12, also won a gold medal at the 2023 FIBA U18 EuroBasket team with Serbia.
Before joining Mega Basket, he played in 28 games for OKK Beograd in Serbia's KLS league during the 2023-24 season. He also took part in the prestigious Basketball Without Borders (BWB) camps in 2022 and 2023, and BWB Global Camp at NBA All-Star Weekend.
