WISCONSIN — Strong to severe thunderstorms moved throughout the state and multiple tornado warnings were issued throughout the state Thursday afternoon and evening. Things started to cool off around 8 p.m.
As of Saturday at 8 a.m., NWS had confirmed nine tornadoes touched down in Wisconsin. Four were rated as EF-2s, two were an EF-1 and three were an EF-0.
Thousands were left without power throughout the state. Damage reports have started to come in Friday and surveys are being conducted by the National Weather Service.
