WISCONSIN — As nonstop severe thunderstorms and tornado warnings tore through Wisconsin Thursday afternoon and well into the evening, thousands of Wisconsinites found themselves without power.
As of 10 a.m. Friday morning, a little over 10,000 Wisconsin households were still without power.
The largest amout of that is among We Energies customers, with over 8,000 without power largely near Milwaukee County. Dodge County and Racine County also had a large chunk of outages.
We Energies and other power companies said they were working on restoring power. On Thursday evening, over 60,151 Wisconsin households lost power.
Spectrum News 1 will continue to track outages in the aftermath of storms.
