WAUKESHA, Wis. — Former President Donald Trump announced he will visit Wisconsin again next week. 

Trump will head to Waukesha on May 1. The event will take place at Waukesha County Expo Center, located at 1000 Northview Road. Doors will open at 11 a.m. Trump's remarks are set to begin at 2 p.m. 

Trump is currently on trial in New York, facing 34 charges of falsifying business records around purported efforts to cover up his alleged infidelity with an adult film actress during his 2016 presidential campaign. The former president has pleaded not guilty and denied any wrongdoing. The judge presiding over Trump's case spends Wednesdays on other cases, allowing time for the visit. 

Trump's last visit to Wisconsin was on April 2 in Green Bay, Wis. Before that, the former president's last visit to the Badger State was in Aug. 2022.
