LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Churchill Downs and Racing Louisville FC have joined forces to bring fans the traveling “Kentucky Derby experience” as part of the Thunder Over Louisville festivities at Lynn Family Stadium on April 20.

The experience will be open to fans attending Racing’s match against the Utah Royals. Attendees will have the opportunity to take their photo with this year’s trophy for 150th running of the Kentucky Oaks and win tickets to special Derby week events. At halftime, chosen fans will also compete in a stick horse race for the chance to win special prizes.

Fans are also welcome to stay after the match and enjoy the fireworks display. To purchase tickets for Saturday’s game, visit the soccer team’s ticketing website. Stadium gates open at 11 a.m. and the match will kick off at 5 p.m.

Lynn Family Stadium is also hosting a daylong celebration for Thunder Over Louisville, where fans can take in a showing of “Top Gun: Maverick,” the air show, live music and the fireworks show.
