After a mainly sunny and warm day across Wisconsin Friday, a line of showers and a few thunderstorms will move southeast across the state along a cold front this evening.
The overall risk of severe weather is low across the state, but a gusty thunderstorm or two will be possible along with brief, heavy rain. The storms will move in and out quickly and the cold front will clear the state by midnight.
Clouds will continue to clear overnight so there is a chance that we catch a glimpse of the northern lights in Wisconsin.
Overnight lows drop into the 40s with some isolated spots in northern Wisconsin dipping into the 30s.
Saturday will feature plenty of sunshine with a few clouds mixing in at times. High temperatures will stay in the 60s with a slim chance of a passing shower in the afternoon.
