COLUMBUS, Ohio — Columbus police are continuing to investigate a shooting that left at least six people injured early Saturday morning and asking anyone with information to reach out.
Police were dispatched around 3:15 a.m. on June 14 to the area of S. Ludlow St. and W. Town St. after a shooting was reported. Officers found five adult and one juvenile shooting victims. Another juvenile was also found injured but not from a gunshot injury.
The victims were transported to several local hospitals. Officials said all but one victim were in stable conditions as of Saturday night. One adult victim was in critical condition. Police said an additional adult victim self-transported themselves to a hospital and is also in stable condition.
The Homicide Unit is investigating because of the severity of the critically injured victim.
Detectives believe there was a crowd present and are asking anyone who may have video, photographs or other evidence sent it to the police to help with the investigation.
