There are low chances of any tropical development during the next seven days. An area of disturbed weather off the southeast coast has a 10% chance of non-tropical or tropical development over the next 7 days. Regardless of whether this develops or not, rainy conditions are expected later this week across the Southeast Coast.
The Saharan dust cloud currently moving across the tropical Atlantic is a fairly common phenomenon and tends to suppress tropical development due to the presence of dry air in the mid-levels of the atmosphere.
