LOUISVILLE-- There is talk around Frankfort the special session dealing with the pensions for quasi state agencies could start Tuesday. However, nobody is for sure, as Governor Bevin has said he will not call the session until he has the votes to pass a pension bill.

The governor vetoed House Bill 358, following its passage on the final day of the 2019 regular session.

Senators Damon Thayer (R-Georgetown) and Morgan McGarvey (D-Louisville) stopped by the Spectrum News 1 studio to talk about the pension bill, and the possibility of a special session.
