LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Mayor Greg Fischer, D-Louisville,  is the latest state leader to announce he is in self-isolation as a result of coming into contact with a person who tested positive for the coronavirus.

He is joined by Governor Andy Beshear, D-KY, D-Kentucky, Representative John Yarmuth, D-KY 3rd District, and University of Louisville President Neeli Bendapudi.  All four admitted to attending the March 7 Speed Ball at the Speed Art Museum.

The governor, mayor, and Representative Yarmuth have all been tested and are awaiting their results.  President Bendapudi annouced her isolation on Twitter but there is no indication on whether or not she has been tested.

Mayor Fischer made the announcement on a teleconference Sunday evening.
